The Scrivette is a minimal workstation designed to make work simpler. It combines a streamlined profile with traditional woodworking details. It is compact enough for small home office spaces and offers a generous desktop to spread out books and a laptop.

The curved edge of the desktop is a pleasing tactile experience as you open the lid to reveal two generous storage compartments to contain all you need to be productive. Lift the desktop to reveal a generous divided storage compartment beneath. Wooden pivot hinges are a contemporary nod to artisan craftsmanship. The raised back surface provides a prop to lay open books. The desk lid allows you to take full advantage of the storage space within the desk, perfect for those working on a laptop who like to put everything away at the end of the day. 

If you prefer keeping your work computer on your desk and drawers are more your storage style, the Scrivette with Drawers is the desk for you.

Manage cables through the slot on the desktop and feed them through concealed holes at the back of the desk.

We have contrasted the desktop with solid Tasmanian oak legs. This blending of materials is a reference to the Japanese aesthetic of wabi, meaning simplicity and quietude. Wood is hand-rubbed and protected for long life with a satin plant-based finish.

A 2 year warranty covers the structural integrity of Plyroom products.

Our warranty covers the replacement or repair of any product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used. It is not transferable and does not apply in situations of misuse or incorrect use of the product.
